Many Synchron motors look alike. In order to determine the correct replacement motor or retrofit kit, we’ll ask you information about the motor you are replacing, including voltage, speed, and model number.
Here’s how to locate that information on your motor:
The voltage and other specifications are first, followed by speed and model number. In the picture shown above, you’ll see “24V” defining the motor voltage, then “60Hz” for the frequency. The “6W” indicates the wattage and the “60RPH” indicates the speed. Other motor speeds may be listed as “1RPM” or “1RPD”. “38572R” indicates the model number of the motor - we’re looking for a 5 digit number ending in “R” or “L”. The “R” and “L” indicates which direction the motor turns. We may also ask you what color wires the motor has - in this case, blue.
Synchron motors often display the same model number for different voltages. This is why it’s important to note the voltage.
