The RetroZone™ 2 wire spring return damper motors are designed as drop in replacements for Honeywell’s M847D series motors on popular ZD and ARD dampers, including M847D1004, M847D1012, and many other damper actuators that use the same footprint.

This high-quality OEM replacement motor is the original equipment for many Braeburn®, Trolex®, and ZoneFirst® dampers. It is also fully compatible with Honeywell M847-D series motors and most other standard footprint motors, including various Honeywell models.


Engineered for durability, this motor features an upgraded heavy-duty all-metal primary gear, eliminating issues associated with plastic gears. It is backed by an extended warranty and supported by RetroZone’s 40 years of expertise in damper technology and technical assistance.


For a seamless replacement, ensure your drive shaft to anti-rotation pin measurement is 32mm (1.25 inches). This motor is designed to provide superior performance and longevity.
